PRODUCING
Rory has worked in theatre producing since 2019, beginning with self-producing his own work before working in both the commercial and subsidised sector to develop stunning, bold new writing. He likes to support emerging playwrights, particularly LGBTQ+ projects, developing work that feels theatrical to its core and socially relevant up to the minute.
From 2019 to 2024, Rory was Artistic Director of Paper Mug Theatre, a new writing theatre company whose projects were critically acclaimed by publications such as The Scotsman, The Stage and The Upcoming, and have been performed across the country and internationally.
From 2021 to 2024, Rory was Associate Producer at Grace Dickson Productions, beginning as Assistant Producer and supporting projects at Soho Theatre, New Diorama and Edinburgh Festival Fringe. During this time, Rory was also employed at HD General Management, Grace Dickson's sister company with Ameena Hamid.
From 2024 to 2025, Rory worked as Production Assistant for Playful Productions, developing key knowledge about commercial producing for major, high-budget productions.
In 2025, Rory was Production Coordinator for Francesca Moody Productions, supporting projects which won Fringe Firsts, toured across the country and internationally and transferred to the West End.
