Rory is an Off-West End Commendation winning writer whose work has been longlisted for The Bruntwood Prize, shortlisted for the BBC Writers' Room, The Sit-Up Award and The Charlie Hartill Theatre Reserve.

His debut play A PARTNERSHIP premiered at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, scoring rave reviews, Theatre Weekly's Best Fringe Debut Award, and a transfer to Theatre503. The play later went on a UK tour of nine venues, including Sheffield Theatres, Lighthouse Poole and King's Head Theatre London.

Rory's next play CON-VERSION premiered at Vault Festival, where Rory was also shortlisted for the Vault Five. The show was nominated for Show of the Week and received exclusively four- and five-star reviews.

Rory was commissioned by Big Finish Productions to write THE RETURN OF THE DOCTOR, an episode of the Doctor Who: Thirteenth Doctor Adventures, starring Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill, which was released in September 2025.

Outside of writing, Rory is also a seasoned theatre producer, developing projects ranging from fringe theatre to West End, including venues such as Garrick Theatre, Soho Theatre, New Diorama, Pleasance, Bristol Old Vic, Norwich Playhouse and Bush Theatre. He has worked in a variety of roles for a number of prestigious producers and companies, including Francesca Moody Productions, Playful Productions, Grace Dickson Productions and HD General Management.

Rory is also the founder and main host of Rory's Quiz Night, leading top quality quizzes and interactive experiences for venues across London. He is available for bookings for any type of event, able to tailor and deliver standard or themed quizzes in a style that suits you and/or your company.
